Visit to UCSF

Aly had an appointment with Dr. Frieden today at UCSF Vascular Anomalies Center. Aly has been off the steriod Prednisolone (Orapred) to treat her hemangioma on her left hand since January 10th and it has gotten a bit puffy again. Dr. Frieden has suggested that we keep in eye on it to make sure that it doesn't ulcerate again and if it continues to grow, we will try another medication, but only if needed. I don't know much about this new medication other then it's used on patients for high blood pressure and it's still under review for treatment of hemangiomas. So, hopefully it stops growing and she doesn't need to be on any other medications. Other then that Aly's hand is doing well.

Bath Time

Aly & Izy test out their new bath seat made buy Safety 1st,

I really like this seat because it hooks onto the side of the

bathtup so the seat doesn't tip over!

Lunch Time

Aly & Izy think it's so funny to make a big mess while they eat, but they're so darn cute!!

So much can happen in a day

Today marks alot of firsts for Aly & Izy:

  • First cold
  • First time Izy sat up all by herself!!
  • First time using their new little playzone
So it's been a very busy day for us...

This is Isabella, I can't believe they can take pictures like this!

In the Beginning

We started with two little eggs, till one split into two! So yes, we originally were preggers with triplets, but we lost little baby C early on. Aly and Izy came from the egg that split so that makes them identical twins.
